60: Ruben Garmyn: From the Belgian Navy to a Listing Machine

Ruben brings to real estate his knowledge in architecture, which he studied in Belgium, and his extensive experience in marketing. After a 4 year stint in the Navy as a weapon technician and 4 years as a Police Officer Ruben owned and operated 3 successful businesses including 2 restaurants. After an earthquake scared Ruben and his wife out of California, he discovered real estate. Ruben started with Coldwell Banker, after which he became the Top Producer with Century 21 and RE/MAX. Spending too much time fishing and not enough prospecting Ruben didn't break any records his first year, however in his second year he became a member of the RE/MAX "Platinum Club", the top 1% agents in the nation. Like all agents Ruben was forced to battle the recession which he handled flawlessly and used it to develop and start 4 other successful companies!
